Studio Pickup & Fitting Policy

Effective Date: July 16, 2026

At Sewn In The Wood, all of our handcrafted custom gowns, prom designs, and bridal wear are provided exclusively via in-studio pickup. We do not offer shipping or delivery services. This ensure that every garment undergoes a final inspection and professional fitting session before leaving our hands.

1. Pickup Process & Final Fittings

• By Appointment Only: Once your custom gown construction is entirely complete, we will contact you directly to schedule your final fitting and collection appointment.

• In-Studio Verification: During your collection appointment, you will try on the completed garment to ensure structural perfection. Once a custom garment leaves the Sewn In The Wood studio premises, the order is considered fully completed and accepted.

2. Orders & Collection Deadlines

• Balance Due: The remaining balance on any custom design must be paid in full prior to or at the exact time of your scheduled pickup appointment. Garments cannot be removed from the studio until payment clears.

• Storage Guidelines: We request that garments be picked up within 14 business days of our "Ready for Pickup" notification. Due to limited studio storage space, items left past 30 days without prior communication may be subject to a secure storage fee.
